WORKSHOP: Citizen science in libraries: the role of librarians in shaping citizen science research - (20. 4. 2023)

This involvement can occur at multiple stages, including data collection and generation, research design, defining the research problem, and even in data analysis and interpreting results, each from unique perspectives and in diverse ways.

Libraries serve as vital connectors between citizens eager to be involved in research and researchers or their projects. The library network is instrumental in drawing individuals who are keen to participate in research endeavors. Additionally, libraries have the capacity to showcase research outcomes that are particularly significant and beneficial for their local communities.
